Romanian–born Alexandra Vaduva started to play the piano at the age of four, and has studied at the Royal College of Music since 2009, gaining her Bachelor and Masters degrees as well as an Advanced Diploma.
In addition to her concert performances, she is researching the piano works of George Enesco for a PhD. Alexandra has also won numerous national and international piano competitions and performed in masterclasses throughout Europe. Her concert schedule has taken her east to Japan and west to the United States as well as many important halls in the UK and on the European continent.
As well as piano, she is a great lover of chamber music and plays with her group, Trio Mirage and also a duo with viola player Ugne Tiskute. We look forward to her recital today.
