This gifted trio of musicians are all at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where they have just been awarded the Chamber Music Prize and are described as ‘superb’.
Tim is an exceptional violinist who won all available prizes at the Junior Royal Academy of Music and played with the Celan Quartet recording of Alban Berg’s early masterpiece, String Quartet Op.3. He plays a Ferdinand Gagliano c.1770 and a Nicolo Gagliano c.1750 for historical work.
Ben, a graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School, received a scholarship to study at Guildhall and is a delightful and talented cellist. In 2016 he was selected to participate in the Piatgorsky cello festival in Los Angeles.
Dinis is a very accomplished pianist and conductor who graduated from the Guildhall in 2012 and is now taking his Masters degree in performance. He is also the founder and Music Director of Orquestra XXI, an orchestra that brings together Portuguese musicians living all over Europe.
