The Jacquin Trio are rapidly establishing a reputation for their dynamic and spirited performances across the country.
Irish clarinetist, Jessie Grimes was resident artist giving masterclasses, solo and chamber performances at the Clandeboye Festival in 2016. She has presented a BBC Ten Pieces programme live and teaches clarinet at the Royal College of Music Junior department.
Scottish violist and violinist Kay Stephen is currently violist with the Gildas Quartet, with whom she is also an award winner, giving performances in major venues and on BBC3.
Canadian pianist Charis Hanning has won many prizes as a soloist since graduating, like Jessie, from the Royal College of Music. She enjoys performing with singers and musicians in London, Madrid, and Vancouver.
The trio have had several works written for them, including a piece that will be performed in the concert along with works by Mozart, Bartok, and Beethoven.
